To start my day, each morning I always made a delicious and healthy morning smoothie. I’ve been doing this for more than a decade. And now, I recommend you to do it too.
Why? The reason is that you’ll get a lot of benefits from a healthy morning smoothie. Especially, if you know many different morning smoothie recipes like me. The benefits you’ll get is more than what you think.
I create different morning smoothie recipes for a different purpose —ranging from menstrual disorders to auto-immune disorders.
But Cindy, I didn’t know a lot of different healthy morning smoothie recipes like you. I tried to search on Google, but what I found are recipes for common purpose like increase energy, or freshen my mind
Don’t worry, if you keep reading my website, you’ll find a lot of different recipes which I never shared publicly before. It’s so valuable, and you won’t find them anywhere. It’s exclusive only on my website.
And I’ll share one recipe for today. But before that, to help you be motivated in drinking healthy morning smoothie (which I believe it’s good for yourself), let’s discuss more why drinking a healthy smoothie for your breakfast is a good thing for you.
Why you should drink a healthy smoothie every morning:
Making healthy smoothie not only help me save time in the morning. I get to meditate, practice piano, work on my blog and feed my handsome dog, Benji. Drinking my daily smoothie makes me feel energetic, happy and hormonal-ly balanced knowing that I am getting all the important nutrients that my body needs until the next meal.
Now that’s self-love!
Umm…What food has to do with self-love?
When you start treating your body with the same respect you’ll also treat a sacred temple, and the result is incredible things start to shift: your mind, your body, and your spirit. You become more mindful of what you drink and eat, and of course, you will also develop the capacity of self-correction.
So it’s fair to assume that nurturing your beautiful body with healthy food each morning (including a healthy morning smoothie) is the way of self-love. It’s because you redefine your relationship with healthy food and create a sustainable habit of more mindful eating.
Yes, food is intimately important part of the Crisocolla’s Self Love Project because scientific researches and of course, my personal experience confirms that it correlates with your mood, your energy levels, your wellbeing, your productivity and your potential to flourish in your own skin.
In other words, what we eat affects how we think and how we act.
Now, listen carefully…
Making healthy food selections will help you develop better brain chemistry, upgrade your emotional state and experience levels of self-love as you nourish your body with everything it needs to keep energy level elevated. And yet, your internal organs will also be nurtured.
That’s why my green smoothies make me happy every single morning 🙂
So, be the scientist of your own body, show yourself some love by treating your body benevolently and fill your body with highly nutritious foods – starting from TODAY.
Now as promised earlier, here’s one of my quick and delicious smoothie recipes you can make at home:
The Tropical Horizon
2 Tbsps of organic Chia seeds
1/2 cup of boiled Red Raspberry Leaf tea
2 slices of fresh pineapple
8 ounces of filtered water
1/2 cut avocado
1/2-inch or 2 cm piece of ginger root
1 1/2 Tbsps of Organic Coconut flakes
1 tbsp of organic Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp of organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsps of fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup of baby carrots
In a regular blender [I use Ninja Bullet], combine chia seeds, red raspberry leaf tea, pineapple, filtered water, avocado, ginger root, sesame seeds, vinegar, lemon juice and baby carrots. Process on high for 60 seconds or until smooth or lump-free. If you like to chew a bit more, blend for less time.
Serve and top it with coconut flakes.

Chia Seeds: They contain calcium, magnesium, high-quality proteins, antioxidants, high fiber, omega 3 fatty acids. They help you nourish your bones, make you feel full and lose weight.
Lemon: It’s an anti-aging remedy. It is diuretic and has anti-inflammatory properties which help treat autoimmune diseases like rheumatism and arthritis. It helps to flush out bacteria and toxins from the body. It also alkalizes your whole body giving you a healthy glow to the skin.

Ginger root: It has anti-inflammatory properties, helps you lose weight, helps lower blood sugar level.

Sesame Seeds: They are high in calcium, helps prevent diabetes, improves blood circulation, detoxify the body, it helps cures sleep disorders and helps reduce the feeling of sadness or depression.
Baby carrots: Contain carotene antioxidant which promotes weight-loss, boosts eye health, reduce risks of cancer.
Apple Cider Vinegar: The list is long! It’s an alkaline forming food. It contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatories properties. It’s weight-loss friendly and helps get rid of dandruff.
Coconut flakes: It’s high in dietary fiber, contain a good source of minerals. They also help boost metabolism. From now, why don’t you try and drink a healthy smoothie as your self-love breakfast?
